DarcStar Technologies builds GIDE — the Guaranteed Intelligent Dynamics Engine: one real-time control system whose safety properties are formally verified against stated system and environment assumptions, specialized at compile time across robotics, financial markets, and software that improves itself.

Our mission

Autonomous systems are moving into places where failure is not an option — aircraft, industrial robots, live markets. Conventional testing can show that a controller usually behaves; it can never show that it will never violate a safety constraint.

We close that gap by treating safety as something to prove rather than something to measure. GIDE's safety properties are stated as theorems and machine-checked in Lean 4 and Isabelle — over the mathematical model, under assumptions we name rather than leave implicit.

How we work

Safety properties are stated as theorems and machine-checked in Lean 4 and Isabelle — Control Barrier Functions verified against declared assumptions, not inferred from passing test runs.

Real-time by design

Closed-form continuous-time inference runs in microseconds, measured on hardware — fast enough to run the verified control law inside a live loop rather than offline. The timing is measured; no latency bound is proven.

One engine, many domains

GIDE specializes at compile time instead of re-implementing control per problem, so the same verified core runs from quadrotors to financial markets.
